Featured Llama:
Man in the Moon

Here is one great looking llama, tall, large boned
and suri type fiber.
He was shown once in 2004 where he took first
place in the Adult Heavy Wool Class and Grand Champion in Heavy
Wool Male.
He was shown twice in 2005 where he took two firsts
in Adult Heavy Wool Class and two Grand Championships in Heavy
Wool Male and one Best of Show. In addition we took him to Grand
Nationals where he finished in the top ten.
We showed him one time in 2006 at the Virginia
Classic and he took first in the Adult Heavy Wool Male and Reserve
Grand Champion. Since that time we have retired him from the
show ring and allowed him to concentrate on producing great
offspring. See below what he is producing (click the pictures
to see larger images).
Outside breeding available.
Princess
April Moon
Note: Princess April Moon is owned
by Doug and Gail Targett. Her mother was purchased from
Leisure Acres Llamas, and her father is Man in the Moon.
Leisure Acres Llamas received this message about Princess
April Moon:
"Thought I drop a line to let you know
how Princess's baby did this year. We showed her 13
times this year. She won 9 Grand Champ. and 2 Reserve
Grand. April won Grand Champ. at Regional. We did not
go to National because of the long drive. By June of
08 she had her ROM and after Regional she had her Halter
Champ. Princess is due to have her next baby in April
of 09. Hoping she gives us another winner."
